The Humane Society of Flower Mound Mercy Fund

Originally started when we took in 32 dogs from an abusive situation, our Mercy Fund now helps dogs and cats who need extra medical care and TLC to recover from abuse, neglect, or injuries not treated. Even with a healthy animal, our adoption fee sometimes does not cover all the expenses of that pet. With animals who need our help from the Mercy Fund, those costs may triple (or more!) what the adoption fee is.

Take for example Ginger, who was rescued from Fort Worth Animal Control. Ginger had severe mange, plus secondary infections, as well as being nearly starved. Or Higgens, a cat at Denton Animal Control found by a citizen under her shed, with a serious bite wound on his back and an ear collapsed from so many ear mites. Sadly, there are endless stories of animals who are in need, which is why we need you.
