Dot Lott - Director of Adopt A Pets
As a native Dallasite, Dot started picking up strays and bringing them home as a young teenager, but became a full-fledged independent rescuer 14 years ago after picking up a 2 month old puppy that someone had thrown out in the middle of a six lane highway. After moving to the Flower Mound/Lewisville area, she knew she wanted to continue her passion of rescue and after researching several of the area groups, she became involved with the Humane Society of Flower Mound in 2005. Dot works for JPMorgan Chase to support her "rescue habit", and lives with her five dogs Rocky, Daisy, Tigerlily, Rylee, and Stanley, all seniors and four adopted from HSFM. She also has a wonderful granddog, Zoey, who her son rescued off a highway when she was about 3 months old. Dot recently became certified to do emergency animal rescue, and she looks forward to continuing to rescue for many years to come.
