Peggy Durbin - Director of Cat Adoptions, Director of Adopt A Purrs

Peggy came to Texas by way of northern New York and has lived here for 8 years.  She works locally as an executive assistant for an agricultural distribution company based out of Loveland, CO.  She became involved with the Humane Society of Flower Mound when her cat of 13 years passed away and she wanted to volunteer with an animal welfare group.  Starting off in the LAP program as a professional pooper scooper, she was asked to consider becoming an adoption counselor for cats when we launched the AdoptAPurrs.  That was four years ago, and as many cats.  She says she could not ask for a better group of people to volunteer with (nor a more patient husband) and has made wonderful “fur”ever friends.
