Solange Tinnerello - Director of Animal Care

Solange was born in Santiago, Chile and was taught from an early age that compassion and respect for all creatures, both human and animal, was the most important trait to develop throughout life. After school, a demanding job in the Chilean Antarctic Institute, management of a hotel and restaurant in the Chilean Lake District, and helping with the family business in Santiago, life and love brought her to this country 22 years ago. Nine years later she had the opportunity to join a great group called FMHS. Since 2002 she has volunteered for a variety of jobs in this organization. Today her role as Animal Care Director is helping the VPAW get all the animals ready for adoption, and keeping compassion, respect and responsibility alive in her heart.
