| The day starts with a dog walk through the trails of Westchester Park at 9am...then you and your furry friend can enjoy demonstrations by local dog groups such as Search One search and rescue and K9 Officers from Flower Mound and Grapevine. Your dog can try his or her paw at agility on our practice course...stay safe by getting a microchip or registering with your town...compete in races, a wagon pull, and the costume contest...eat at the Bow Wow Bistro or the cake walk...and commemorate the day with an Olympic-style paw painting, a portrait at the photo booth, or a souvenir poster by artist Real Musgrave. And if your dog was adopted from HSFM, join other adoptees in the annual Rescue Reunion group photo.
Since 1997, HSFM has given hope to thousands of homeless, abused, and unwanted animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding communities by providing spay/neuter programs, adoption opportunities, and education to the public about animal welfare. Your participation in Fido Fest helps support the work we do.
