Summer is Here!
Temperatures are already rising, and Texas heat can be a real danger to your pets.
NEVER leave an animal in a car, even for short times. Heat stroke can hit in under 10 minutes.
Keep pets indoors with air conditioning. If this is not possible, ensure the pet has shade and a large amount of water that cannot be overturned.
Keep dogs on heartworm preventative.
Don't let dogs ride in the back of trucks. Not only is it dangerous as they could jump out, but the heat of the metal can quickly induce heat stroke and burn paws and skin.
